DISCOVER THE WORLD OF CERAMICS IN BAT TRANG
Your journey will begin at 8:00 with our guide and driver picking you up in a private car at a designated pickup spot or at your accommodation in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The scenic ride takes about 30 minutes, bringing you directly to Bat Trang Village.
The first place we will visit is a traditional pottery workshop, where you’ll be shown how pottery is made. By that, you’ll have the chance to experience the craft firsthand. Under the guidance of the artisans, you can create your own ceramic products, try molding clay, or paint small figurines. This hands-on activity not only allows you to have fun but also offers a meaningful way to connect with the village’s heritage.
Once you’ve done shaping a product to take home, we will take you to Bat Trang Pottery Museum, where highlights the rich heritage and refined artistry of Vietnamese ceramics. With its unique architecture and vast collection of remarkable pottery, it encourages visitors to immerse themselves in the creative spirit of Bat Trang Pottery Village.
After this Bat Trang tour, you’ll return to Hanoi’s city centre with cherished memories of a day filled with artistry, culture, and history. It is not just a sightseeing trip but an intimate journey into Vietnam’s living heritage, where the past and present coexist beautifully in every crafted piece of clay.
