We travelled from Pho Long in the north to Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Chan To, Mekong Delta, Saigon and ended with some wonderful beach days in Mui Ne. The whole trip was just like a beautiful fairy tale! Everything was just fantastic, and we had excellent support from Ftrip all the way through our awesome vacation. My friend and I are passionate photographers, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Ftrip Vietnam Travel coordinate a bespoke photography tour to Cambodia and Laos for us. The overall trip was outstanding -- well-planned, good accommodations, no hiccups, and excellent local guides and drivers. I especially want to give a shout-out to our local Cambodia photographer guide, Koemle Saing, and our driver, Hung. From the very start, it was clear that Koemle truly understands photography — he knew exactly where to take us for the best locations and how to time our visits for the most beautiful light and least number of tourists. At each temple, Koemle’s local connections and warm personality opened doors that few visitors experience. He spoke with monks and arranged private photo sessions for us, which were absolutely magical. He also organized private Cambodian model shoots at the temples — unforgettable opportunities that resulted in some of our favorite images from the entire trip. Beyond his photography expertise, Koemle was thoughtful, patient, and a pleasure to spend time with. His deep knowledge of Cambodian history and culture made every site even more meaningful. Our driver, Hung, also deserves immense credit — an excellent driver, calm, good-humored, always greeting us with cold towels and water after long hikes photographing in the hot humid Cambodian climate. Our Laos guide, Year Talent, was also excellent. He's not a photographer, but he knew his way around Luang Prabang and added special moments to our itinerary to ensure we had good photographic opportunities. We did a family Vietnam Tour with FTrip (as they were recommended by a colleague) from North to South. Hanoi-Mai Chau-Pu Long-Ninh Binh- Ha Long-Hue-Hoi An-Ho Chi Minh. This was the first time booking through a travel agent as we've always booked all our trip by ourselves so was very skeptical about it. However, I'm glad we did as the entire trip was amazing and very well planned. They helped guide me through the entire process of planning. They accommodated all my changes and requests till I was satisfied and then booked it all in for us. My kids are 16 and 12 and both loved every minute of the holiday and were never bored. Both the main guides Tuan and Dien were amazing and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to give suggestions on places to eat and things to do that were not part of the tour as well. The drivers (Sun and Phu) too were always on time. When on the trip if we did ever have questions or needed help FTrip was quick to assist. Cannot fault anything at all. We surely felt very spoilt, and it was worth every dollar spent.
