YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE
At 9 a.m., our guide will greet you at the designated pick-up point. You'll then hop on a 45-minute cyclo ride through Hanoi's Old Quarter, where you can take in the sights and sounds of Vietnam's capital at a relaxed pace.
We arrive at a local market at around 9:50 a.m. to pick up fresh, locally sourced ingredients for the dishes you'll be making. While you're there, you can also try some Vietnamese street snacks such as banh mi, xoi, or a warm bowl of pho from the stalls.
We return to the restaurant at around 10:30 a.m., where you'll be welcomed with a refreshing drink before the cooking class begins. Your instructor is a local chef with over 20 years of experience in Vietnamese cuisine, who will guide you step by step through four traditional dishes, including Goi cuon (Summer rolls), Banh cuon (Steam rice rolls), Goi Du Du Com vong (Green Papaya salad with Green rice flakes), Ca kho to (Braised fish in Clay pot).
Once the cooking is done, sit down and enjoy the meal you made together right at the restaurant.
At 1 p.m., we say goodbye to the chef. Before you leave, you'll take home an exclusive recipe cookbook so you can recreate these dishes for your friends and family back home.
